SDL audio seems working here as SimpleDirectMediaLayer in KMplayer is working 
fine (is SDL, right?) so I report here, tell me if you want my emerge info
(which are pretty standard, though)

emerge -epv gemhun (as you can see, now I moved to gcc-4.1 and glibc-2.4-r1, so 
this file is not so useful now, kyra won't compile anymore....)

Hum, after a little fix for kyra (
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126601 ) seems to give same output even
with gcc-4.1.0 :
