I just commited an ebuild of numarray-1.5.1-r1 with lapack support in the
Gentoo Scientific overlay:
http://gentooscience.org/browser/overlay/dev-python/numarray
It includes as changes:
- blas/lapack external support
- a src_test function

ebuild updated to fix header files, and works for >=gcc-4 with gfortran

Ebuild updated for numarray-1.5.2 new version, and other fixes. Still in
gentooscience overlay.
