Hi,
A day or two ago received the same error on gconf-2.12.1-r1.
Today tried again, same error. Logs come below:

Hi,
Just checked, the patch must be applied on "gconf/gconf.c" file not just
"gconf.c"
But changing the patch & ebuild didn't work (added "eutils" too)-in overlay.
Patching manually in WORKDIR/$PV works.

Im not sure how this escaped through.  Fixed in portage.  Sorry for the
trouble.  Please sync and test in ~2 hours.

I'm still seeing this bug.

The patch has time 10:36 in the tree so I assume I've got a new version.
