Description Georg Sauthoff 2006-02-25 13:34:28 UTC
Hi,

just small things:

- the man-pages ebuild should install these two files from the source package into /usr/share/doc/man-pages, too:
POSIX-COPYRIGHT
HOWTOHELP

- this package contains some man pages from sections 0p, 1p, 3p (i.e. posix man pages). By default this sections are not included in the /etc/man.conf from the man package. So perhaps it makes sense to add some info text about this to the man-pages pkg_postinst() routine. I.e. something about the need to change MANSECT in /etc/man.conf - else man will not find them.

(- version bump to 2.24)

Why do you exclude 'POSIX-COPYRIGHT'?

1st 'README' and 'man-pages-2.24.Announce' reference this file and 2nd the posix man pages are distributed under this copyright.

Sorry - I didn't look at the current stable man.
