Description:   Opened: 2006-02-18 12:05 0000 
after installing gentoo by scratch, I installed several daemons that usually
make use of xinetd, but I noticed that xinetd was not in the dependency tree.
Example: the last package that I installed was uw-imamp which runs only from
xinetd, but it didn't install xinetd.

Good catch. xinetd added to RDEPEND for both uw-imap ebuilds in the tree.
