/usr/share/doc/catalyst-2.0_rc37/examples/stage4_template.spec notes that these options can be used:

stage4/unmerge
stage4/rm
stage4/empty

however while building my stage4, i get:

Using command line specified Catalyst configuration file, /home/rajiv/installer/conf/catalyst.conf

Setting storedir to config file value "/brontes/installer/catalyst"

Compiler cache support enabled.
Package cache support enabled.
Snapshot cache support enabled.

and

!!! catalyst: Argument "stage4/rm" not recognized.
etc.

Fixed in 2.0_rc39...
