Description:   Opened: 2006-02-13 11:02 0000
./configure fails when using an et_EE locale. Using
sys-devel/flex/files/flex-configure-LANG.patch after src_unpack fixes the
issue.

------- Comment #1 From Alastair Tse (RETIRED) 2006-02-16 11:49:00 0000 -------
don't think a patch is really required. i've made it reset the locale
(LANG/LC_ALL) when merging. this is now in 1.4.9-r2

Forgive me for quoting SpanKY (whom i forgot to CC) on the issue at hand
(https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119856#c7):

"no offense, but that's a weak solution that only helps Gentoo"

One must agree that patching the build system and sending the patch upstream
could also help non-gentoo users with the same issue.

------- Comment #3 From Alastair Tse (RETIRED) 2006-02-17 09:00:10 0000 -------
you can submit that patch upstream if you want. i'm not going to waste any time
on this because slang 1.4.9 is has been superceded upstream. i'd be surprised
if there is any response about it. if you want to help, go to the slang 2.0 bug
and attach a patch that fixes the problem with that upcoming version.
