If you simply rename the ebuild, you'll get an access violation problem.

open_wr:   /etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/.testing.writeability
unlink:    /etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/.testing.writeability

I already e-mailed Pontus (upstream) about it, hopefully there is an easy way
around it.
