Get this error when emerging gst-plugins-ffmpeg:

checking for gstreamer-0.10 >= 0.9.7                   gstreamer-plugins-base-0.10... configure: error: no GStreamer found

unmasking and emerging gst-plugins-base fixed the error, but it needs to be listed as a dependency of gst-plugins-ffmpeg.
