As of 4.2.3, hylafax supports JBig. All it needs is media-libs/jbigkit package.

I propose to add media-libs/jbigkit unconditionally because, without it, you
will be unable to read received facsimiles that use this compression.

Added to portage; amd64 and alpha still need to stablize on the latest jbigkit.
