Ok,

after adding the "&&" in line 19 and doing a "ebuild
madwifi-driver-0.1401.20060117.ebuild merge" (thx for the tip JoseJX!) i get

-nitro is not a supported kernel under Gentoo Linux.

Can you reproduce this with either gentoo-sources-2.6.15-r1 or
vanilla-sources-2.6.15.1?

I will try it with gentoo-sources tonight. Compiling a kernel on this machine
takes a hour... ;)
Will report after trying it.
