Attached is an ebuild for libzip, a C library for manipulating zip archive
files.  Project homepage is:

    http://www.nih.at/libzip/

I've done some very basic testing on x86 and amd64 platforms.  Not sure about
the category...I suppose dev-libs/libzip?

The ebuild works fine with the version bumped to 0.8 (not 0.8.0) for the
current version of libzip. It's probably worth mentioning that Ark in KDE4 will
require libzip to open zip archives.

Hi,
since this a KDE4 dependency (as already noted by Benjamin K. Stuhl), I've
included the ebuild (bumped to 0.8) in the kde overlay
(http://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/kde/wiki/), see
http://genkdesvn.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/genkdesvn/kde4-stable/dev-libs/libzip/?view=log
