...been testing on a fully-stable system for 24 hours straight (except for
those 4 when I snuck in some sleep) and I'm willing to say stable on amd64. 
tested with all manner of use from hand-testing the apps to every script I can
think of and > 30 emerges.

amd64 stable

got a problem with coreutils-5.2.1-r7 on x86.  compilation fails with
permissions failures when FEATURES contains userpriv and usersandbox.  removal
of userpriv and usersandbox fixes the problem. 

here's the error:

that error is not probably not restricted to just 5.2.1-r7 on your box (works
fine for me btw)
