------- Comment #1 From Henrik Brix Andersen 2006-01-21 14:39:40 0000 -------
Always post output of `emerge --info` + the full output of the command which
failed when reporting a bug. Without that, your bug report is useless.

------- Comment #2 From Joe Button 2006-01-21 18:14:31 0000 -------
Sorry, emerge --info and full output is below.

Also, I neglected to mention that after the line "make[1]: Leaving directory
`/usr/src/linux-2.6.15.1'" emerge hangs until I press return, after which it
gives the Access Violation errors.

------- Comment #3 From Joe Button 2006-01-22 06:00:22 0000 -------
I think I've worked it out now - I needed to answer y or n to the question
"Above definitions found. Comment out? [y], n ", which appears early in the
command output. This is not at all obvious, as the response is required some
time after the question has scrolled offscreen. Leaving this open as it still
seems to me to be a problem.

------- Comment #4 From Henrik Brix Andersen 2006-02-01 13:22:29 0000 -------
Fixed in CVS. Wait a couple of hours, emerge --sync and retry.
