Description:   Opened: 2006-01-18 10:08 0000
When viewing my project in the Gantt view or Resource view with planner, there
is a misalignment between the task name and the graphical representation which
increases from top (first task) to bottom. After about twenty items, the
misalignment is already off by about two entire rows and makes editing rather
difficult.

This is a known bug on the developers list (thanks Marko Kaening). The work
around is to use an older version of gtk+ (2.6.4 works). This can be build
into a separate directory and executed by

  LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/kludge/gtk+-2.6.4/lib planner

I submit the bug so that if people search here they will find the work around.

We really need a patch for this to be a bug, otherwise it's dependant on
upstream migrating to gtk+-2.8.

Please post any info you have on that here.

A ported patch that fixes that in Version 0.13

This is ported from Bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128983

The next version of planner should have a similar change included.

Should be fixed in the 0.14 revbump, thanks.
