Komparator is a KDE application that searches and synchronizes two directories, discovering duplicate, newer or missing files and empty folders.

I've tested komparator. It looks nice but there are several crash bugs filed on its sf.net site and they can be easily reproduced if you compare two nicely filled /usr/lib dirs with each other. Unfortunately, komparator seems to be abandoned. I tried to contact the author but didn't get a reply. Thus, I'm resolving this as WONTFIX. Please feel free to re-open this bug if things change.
