Same for me, also got drupal from the official site !!! Digest verification Failed: !!! /var/tmp/portage/drupal-4.6.5/distdir/drupal-4.6.5.tar.gz !!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size !!! Got: 455997 !!! Expected: 455995 And after regenerating the digest I got this error: * ebuild fault: file '/usr/portage/www-apps/drupal/files/postinstall-en-4.6.5.txt' not found * Please report this as a bug at http://bugs.gentoo.org/ !!! ERROR: www-apps/drupal-4.6.5 failed. !!! Function webapp_checkfileexists, Line 81, Exitcode 0 !!! ebuild fault: file '/usr/portage/www-apps/drupal/files/postinstall-en-4.6.5.txt' not found !!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.
I found the solution to the problems. First i copied the file postinstall-en-4.6.3 to postinstall-en-4.6.5. And then i recreated the Manifest file by doing: ebuild drupal-4.6.5.ebuild digest. Now drupal installs fine for me.
on 2 jan 06, ebuild complain about missing download, on the 3nd, filesize doenst match As read here, tips to make it working : Copy drupal in your overlay directory Copy postinstall-en-4.6.3 to postinstall-en-4.6.5 (in files directory) emerge -f drupal ebuild drupal-4.6.5.ebuild digest then emerge drupal Seems to be working.
Comment #4 works for me. Thanks.
Hi, My error. I've fixed it.
*** Bug 117695 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Is it really "resolved fixed" that there is a workaround? So everyone who wants to install Drupal, make sure you come find this bug to explain the hack to force a broken ebuild to work!

Very sorry... you are correct. I saw nothing in the comments to indicate that the ebuild saw fixed but I should have just tried it again before bitching. Sincere apologies...
