Can we find someone that can test and evaluate this?
Rsync patch to allow connections through passworded
proxies.

Patch is ok, compile without problems. 
But for us, which have http,https,ftp only proxy with 
autorisation, is this patch helpless... 
 
We need a rsync accross http like (and with autorisation of course)
