Description:   Opened: 2005-12-27 15:43 0000 
The rman-utility is included in monolithic x-org, but when using modular X, it
seems this package is needed.  I had to install it to compile tightvnc, but
probably many other packages use this as well.  I use app-text/rman-3.2, which
hasn't given any problems.
