Description Serkan Kaba (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-27 13:54:55 UTC
I emerge amsn-0.95 I had execution permiision problem with
/usr/bin/amsn and manually gave permiision as
chown a+rwx /usr/bin/amsn

and got another one
Error in startup script: couldn't read file "ctthemes.tcl": permission denied
    while executing
"source ctthemes.tcl"
    (procedure "reload_files" line 7)
    invoked from within
"reload_files"
    (file "/usr/bin/amsn" line 229)

I get

Error in startup script: can't find package framec
    while executing
"package require framec"
    (file "chatwindow.tcl" line 7)
    invoked from within
"source chatwindow.tcl "
    (procedure "reload_files" line 19)
    invoked from within
"reload_files"
    (file "/usr/bin/amsn" line 229)

I had to use the tar from SF becuase emerge couldnt find it on any mirrors.

amsn-0.95-r1.ebuild

Removed imlib/imagemajick deps. Allow util's directory to be merged fixing my error.

Still have to run as root.

Added chmod to fix permission issue. Can now run as user, might have to remove ~/.amsn (hung on load until I did). Made ewarn stating so.
