Description:   Opened: 2005-12-24 17:50 0000 
When using the emulator, it will crash with a floating point exception after 72
minutes. According to the Changelog on http://www.viceteam.org/plain/NEWS this
has been fixed in 1.18. As 1.17 currently is the only version in the portage
tree, a version bump should be considered.

Copying the ebuild works for me and fixes the bug.
