Description Frederic Mangeant 2005-12-22 08:23:40 UTC
I tested 5.2.2 by copying the 5.2.1.2-r1 ebuild and removing 5.2.1-fix-insecure-fixproc.diff and 5.2.1-conf-elf-rpm-bz2.patch, as patching fails. Otherwise it builds and runs fine.

I also tested 5.3-rc2 by copying the 5.3-pre4 ebuild; it also build and runs fine.

In cvs, thanks for reporting!

Regarding 5.2.2:

net-snmp-5.2.1-fix-insecure-fixproc.diff was fixed upstream, so I am dropping this patch.
I ported net-snmp-5.2.1-conf-elf-rpm-bz2.patch to 5.2.2, so it should apply correctly now.

Regarding 5.3_rc2:

Ok, good. Since 5.3.* is package.mask'ed, I removed the other 5.3 versions and put that one instead.

In which version of snmp was it fixed upstream?
Comment 5 cilly 2007-08-28 16:03:18 UTC
Is it needed for version 5.2.4?
