Comment 1 Thomas Cort (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-07 09:20:02 UTC
gdk-pixbuf emerges fine for me with db-1.85-r3. This bug can probably be closed when db-1.85-r3 gets the "alpha" KEYWORD.

Same error here. Did not check what is the relevance of sys-libs/db,
but I have sys-libs/db-4.2.52_p2-r1 merged.

I don't think that the error I got is the same as the error you got. db is relevant in my case because of the linker error I got. It probably isn't relevant in your case since your build seems to have failed in the doc directory, but I can't be sure since you didn't post the actual error message. The error message would appear 1 or more lines above "make[2]: *** [scan-build.stamp] Error 1".

Please try to emerge gdk-pixbuf again, look at the output above what you posted to this bug report. Unless it is the same as the error message in this bug report, you should search again to look for the same bug, and then open a new bug if one doesn't already exist. If the output is the same, please post the full error message to this bug, thanks!

db-1.85-r2 emerge log

db-1.85-r2 is now failing on the install phase for me with "cp: cannot stat `libdb.so.2': No such file or directory". db-1.85-r3 works fine and fixes the gdk-pixbuf linker error. Any chance it can be marked stable?
