Description:   Opened: 2005-12-18 11:14 0000 
The ebuild for media-gfx/gifsicle is at version 1.40, but 1.44 is available on
the gifsicle homepage.

On my ~x86 Gentoo system, merely copying gifsicle-1.40.ebuild to
gifsicle-1.44.ebuild was enough to get v1.44 installed successfully (after
running ebuild digest on the new ebuild, of course).
