I have successfully tested the following ebuilds on ppc: media-libs/libipoddevice-0.4.0 dev-dotnet/ipod-sharp-0.5.12 media-sound/banshee-0.10-r1

What version of mono do you have emerged

Recently, this has stopped working. Could you post the output of "emerge info" and which use flags are enabled?

Upgrading to gtk-sharp-2.8 fixes this problem. Can anyone else test and comment please ?
ppc team please test the latest banshee release on portage and keyword all packages. media-libs/libipoddevice dev-dotnet/ipod-sharp dev-dotnet/njb-sharp media-sound/banshee
ppc team: i commited a new version that supports both gst 0.8 and gst 0.10 separated so banshee-0.10.7 only supports 0.8 and banshee-0.10.7_p1 supports only gst 0.10 (currently masked) please test it too and keyword it too.
banshee-0.10.7 with gst 0.8 works for me, all packages in question built, though I can't test ipod-libs stuff. Therefore I haven't keyworded the packages.
please do and keyword gst 0.10 deps too since gst 0.8 is obsolete. About ipod stuff it shouldn't be any problem with those.
Just as a reference: I've been using banshee, and other gstreamer apps with gstreamer-0.10 for over a month already with no problems at all (on my ppc ibook).
