Description:   Opened: 2005-12-11 02:16 0000
conky-1.3.4-r2-miscbug.patch is applied, then the emerge process goes on to
applying conky-1.3.4-arraybounds.patch, but fails.

is offending block I do not see why it is even being added to the patch it
changes nothing:/

------- Comment #6 From Mark 2005-12-11 08:40:55 0000 -------
I can confirm with Jory A. Pratt, removing that section from the patch, then
running "emerge --digest conky" .. built and installed conky

------- Comment #7 From Daniel Black 2005-12-11 12:12:40 0000 -------
ok did it properly this time.

------- Comment #8 From Philip Kovacs 2005-12-11 12:22:11 0000 -------
daniel,

what happened with this? was this my fault (the patch itself)? seems like it
got changed slightly as it was posted to gentoo cvs.

phil

------- Comment #9 From Philip Kovacs 2005-12-11 12:27:21 0000 -------
with regard to comment #5: patches have context lines in them. those lines
frame the altered lines around them.

------- Comment #10 From Daniel Black 2005-12-11 12:32:28 0000 -------
the cvs commit process changes the lines. I just seem to get caught out my it.

------- Comment #11 From Philip Kovacs 2005-12-11 12:35:13 0000 -------
k man, thanks much for handling swiftly. i'll test again as soon as it hits
my
gentoo mirrors.

------- Comment #12 From CBke 2005-12-11 13:02:33 0000 -------
ah there we go ;)
thx
