Description Jakob Rosenlund 2005-12-11 02:16:50 UTC
conky-1.3.4-r2-miscbug.patch is applied, then the emerge process goes on to
applying conky-1.3.4-arraybounds.patch, but fails.

Emerge process tells me to include

is offending block I do not see why it is even being added to the patch it
changes nothing:/
Comment 6 Mark 2005-12-11 08:40:55 UTC
I can confirm with Jory A. Pratt, removing that section from the patch, then
running "emerge --digest conky" .. built and installed conky
Comment 7 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-11 12:12:40 UTC
ok did it properly this time.
Comment 8 Philip Kovacs 2005-12-11 12:22:11 UTC
daniel,

what happened with this? was this my fault (the patch itself)? seems like it
got changed slightly as it was posted to gentoo cvs.

phil
Comment 9 Philip Kovacs 2005-12-11 12:27:21 UTC
with regard to comment #5: patches have context lines in them. those lines
frame the altered lines around them.
Comment 10 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-11 12:32:28 UTC
the cvs commit process changes the lines. I just seem to get caught out my it.
Comment 11 Philip Kovacs 2005-12-11 12:35:13 UTC
k man, thanks much for handling swiftly. i'll test again as soon as it hits my
gentoo mirrors.
Comment 12 CBke -Left- bye 2005-12-11 13:02:33 UTC
ah there we go ;)
thx
