Bugzilla Bug 11498

I'm pretty excited about this ebuild.  I track the bioperl project listserve
and
use it for my work, however I'm not a developer there.  I would, however, be
happy to maintain this ebuild (and the bioperl-cvs version) for the next few
years.

May be some formatting issues or something about perl*.eclasses that I didn't
grok.  Do let me know and I can fixup.

Another reason bioperl-cvs is useful:  On the bioperl-l list, after describing
a
problem with the bioperl code, it is not rare that users are told to upgrade to
current CVS -- new "stable" releases are generally obsolete in 1-2 months and
new releases are about every 6.

this is not forgotten. Unfortunately, problem tickets have taken presidence 
over enhancement tickets for the last week.

This is now masked in portage. I can't unmask it until the expat version you
require is unmasked since bioperl's deps cannot be fulfilled otherwise.
