So Ben... what do I need to do to actually test this?
Comment 4 Ben Urban 2005-12-01 17:35:26 UTC
You will need one of the scenarios. (I recommend Marathon Infinity, which you
can get here: http://trilogyrelease.bungie.org/files/infinity.zip ) Put the
contents of that zip file in /usr/share/games/alephone-infinity and create a
symlink to the launcher script (/usr/games/bin/alephone.sh) called
alephone-infinity. You should then be able to start it. If you have any
trouble, you can ask in #alephone or reply to this bug, whichever's easier.
Comment 5 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-02 06:03:05 UTC
OK. So alephone is really just an engine, or is it the game, just needs data?
It's a bit confusing.

I'm guessing that you'd be able to help me with bug 82908, bug 82910 and bug
82912 also? These appear to be the Marathon data files.
