Description Michael Hordijk 2005-11-28 20:16:10 UTC
This was originally reported as part of bug 41217, but I feel an additional
sentence would go a long way towards helping a novice. The current
/etc/conf.d/dhcp mentions uncommenting the LD_PRELOAD line to get name
resolution in the chroot environment. This imtplies that that is all there is
to it. However, one needs to either copy over or create a resolv.conf in the
chroot /etc directory in order for resolution to work correctly with DNS. Other
that that, it works great.

Reproducible: Always
