Description Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-27 10:14:35 UTC
media-gfx/digikam-0.7.4 and media-plugins/digikamimageplugins-0.7.4 are
candidates for stabilisation. Please evaluate them on your archs (and their
deps).
Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-03 12:14:42 UTC
Please do digikam-0.7.4-r1 and digikamimageplugins-0.7.4-r1.

Also mark media-libs/libkexif-0.2.2, media-libs/libkipi-0.1.2 and
media-plugins/kipi-plugins-0.1.0_rc1 stable, please.
Comment 2 Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-08 22:26:26 UTC
Does this mean media-libs/libexif-0.6.12-r4 is ready to go stable as well?

*sigh* Indeed, missed it. Should be unproblematic, but let's hear what the
maintainer says.
Comment 4 Petteri Räty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-01 16:29:24 UTC
Been finally able to test this and I found one issue. Tools --> Gamma adjustement... seems to need kgamma.

from console:
kcmshell (kdelibs): WARNING: Could not find module 'kgamma'.

Now it just silently does not do anything. I will check tomorrow what happens with kgamma installed. Most likely kgamma needs to be added to RDEPEND.

All of these marked stable on x86. Bug 117502 is also present in the current stable version so it did not prevent me from marking stable.

compilation of digikam-0.7.4-r1 failed

This should really go in a separate bug report, not attached to a stabilisation bug. You should also supply your emerge info and sqlite version. You might try rebuilding sqlite too.

But I don't have qslite installed:

maquina1 luis # emerge -pv sqlite

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] dev-db/sqlite-3.2.1-r3 -doc -nothreadsafe 1,320 kB

Total size of downloads: 1,320 kB
maquina1 luis #

and the emerge of digikam don't force the emerge of sqlite. Is this the problem? I'm going emerge sqlite and then digikam again.

As I said - please open a new bug report on this issue. I don't have time to look into this right now and this is the wrong bug to do it on.
Comment 10 Fernando J. Pereda (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-13 10:05:58 UTC
Those relevant to Alpha have been done by agriffis. Re-add us if you need anything else.

All packages stabled for ppc.
Comment 12 Daniel Webert 2006-07-26 19:41:30 UTC
all 0.7.4-r1's are stable - closing
