Description:   Opened: 2005-11-23 01:13 0000 
I attempted to emerge the latest version of R and I get the following error
message:

!!! Digest verification Failed:
!!!    /usr/portage/distfiles/R-2.2.0.tar.gz
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size

I have tried deleting this file, resynching, and other basic solutions, but the
problem persists.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -uD R
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
I get the error stating that the actual file size does not match the recorded
file size.

Expected Results:  
R should have emerged.

I got the same problem - I have fixed it and committed. You should be able to 
resync in an hour or so to get the fixed digest. Thanks.
