Proxychains Config File
Comment 3 Andrew Dorney 2006-03-16 00:15:18 UTC
Versions 3.0 and 3.1 seem to work on AMD64, provided that I use the .conf file that I've uploaded. Using the default config file, proxychains tries to connect to 4.2.2.3:53 and times out, but I'm unsure if that's because my school network is blocking it or if that IP address doesn't really exist.

Proxychains 3.1 works perfectly for me as well on amd64.

So, it's been almost a year since this was first reported, how do we get someone to add ~amd64 to it???

emerges fine on amd64, passes multilib-strict and collision-test, works

one thing I forgot: proxychains needs net-dns/bind-tools, but it's not in DEPEND
Comment 8 Daniel Gryniewicz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-11 10:43:51 UTC
Done. That depend will have to be fixed before it can go stable...
