Hello Avr-libc 1.2.6 was released yesterday. Here is working ebuild based on 1.2.5-r1 ebuild. Yours Ludek STEPAN

No need to file an enhancement request this soon after a new version has been released. We follow the mailing lists as well. I have an ebuild for 1.2.6 available in my overlay, but I am currently waiting for a renamed version of the manpages package to hit our Gentoo mirrors (the one from upstream is incorrectly named, and confuses our unpacking mechanism). Besides, just renaming the 1.2.5-r1 ebuild wont work. It breaks the manpages install since the directory structure changed. In the future, please be a litte more patient before filing a bug report - and make sure you double check the result before filing an ebuild (and always attach a unified diff when proposing changes to an ebuild - do not post the entire ebuild).
(In reply to comment #2) Ok, you are right. I just wanted to see the fresh ebuild in the portage as soon as possible :) Yes, the manpage archive is incorrectly named, I changed the source name in the ebuild and it installs ok for me... I promis to be more patient in the future and provide rather diff than enything else :)
in portage, thanks
