The latest version of gnupod is 0.98.3, currently 0.98 is in portage but masked
out on x86.  0.98 appears to work fine for me.

gnupod 0.98.3 fixes some problems with long file names (apple lowered the Max.
Pathlength from 64 characters to 55.).  Gnupod now crops the filename accordingly.

that is the new source, it is indeed .98.3 even though it doesnt say so
anywhere in the file or the updated apps
