is it correct that slotted 
sys-kernel/xen-sources-2.6.12.5-r1 installs everything in
/usr/src/linux-2.6.12.5-xen

and slotted 
sys-kernel/xen-sources-2.6.12.5-r2 also installs everything in the same 
/usr/src/linux-2.6.12.5-xen
?

Sorry, this is the way vanilla-sources -rx ebuilds do it. I'm sure they have
some reasons.

If they also create the broken linux symlink, on the other hand, I can vouch
their reason is not good. Please fix this because, as it is, the "package" makes
maintenance even harder.
