Description:   Opened: 2005-10-24 06:05 0000
The new release is linux-2.6 only and includes many important bugfixes...

------- Comment #1 From Stefan Schweizer 2005-10-24 07:49:23 0000 -------
Can you please post the unified diff (diff -u old.ebuild new.ebuild)?

------- Comment #2 From Christian Andreetta (RETIRED) 2005-10-27 00:40:54 0000 -------
1.1.1 resolves most large directories issues, save nfs locking (patch will
follow)

I couldn't test it on amd64. Anyone?

------- Comment #6 From Darrel Clute 2005-11-06 03:37:07 0000 -------
I can confirm that this patch works on AMD64 systems.

Meant to state that the ebuild resulting from the patch works on AMD64 systems.

------- Comment #8 From Stefan Schweizer 2005-12-24 16:30:37 0000 -------
I do not use unionfs currently. Satya, can you please bump it or should it be
moved to maintainer-needed?

------- Comment #9 From Christian Andreetta (RETIRED) 2005-12-25 02:16:11 0000 -------
Ok, I'm taking it.
I haven't access to my dev box at now: travelling until the 3rd week of
january, but maybe I'll be able to do something before (you'll still have to
wait the beginning of january, though).

------- Comment #10 From Eric Thibodeau 2006-01-27 15:27:09 0000 -------
Well...jsut thought I'd say I simply renamed unionfs-1.0.14.ebuild to
unionfs-1.1.2.ebuild, removed the epatch entries and everything built perfectly
well. The module seems to be working fine for the moment as I am using it for a
Gentoo SSI configuration
http://wiki.neuralbs.com/index.php/Gentoo_Diskless_Client without any problems
(arch is x86).

------- Comment #11 From Christian Andreetta (RETIRED) 2006-02-13 05:44:10 0000 -------
in portage: sorry for the delay.
Thanks to all testers!
