I've just tested on a clean gentoo, from scratch with 1.4-rc1, the pb is the same. Someone could help me ?
I've committed what should fix this. Please rsync and try again. The reason for this problem was apparently some stale .h, .cpp files in the tarball that needed to be regenerated. Please close this bugreport if it works now.
There is error at install now. I've emerged manually (ebuild /usr/portage/app-editors/kxmleditor/kxmleditor-0.8.ebuild qmerge)and it's seems to work (I've made a little wml file to test).
please upgrade your libxml2 to 2.4.28 and emerge kxmleditor again.
this is the same problem as bug #11476, but i don't know why this happens.
I've just installed it on one of my box and emerge worked perfectly. Forget this if I'm the only one that have this pb, my box at work is.... a nightmare. Thx for all
Dan is going to commit a change to kde.eclass that will "touch" the ui files of a package. This will ensure that the source files related to a ui will be re-created after an unpack and therefore will eliminate this problem for all kde packages. The status of the changes is going to be tracked inside Bug #13248 therefore I'm closing this one as DUPLICATE. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 13248 ***
