Description:   Opened: 2005-10-12 08:59 0000 
Many email daemons (courier, dovecot, etc) use saslauthd for authentication.

saslauthd can use ldap, but as saslauthd only depends on net it can start before
ldap which can also cause the email daemon to launch before ldap which means
that 1) users cannot auth and/or 2) in dovecots case it won't actually start
