Description vtkstef 2005-10-06 06:47:28 UTC
/etc/init.d/nfs does not start rpc.gssd and rpc.svcgssd kerberized daemons which are necessary to mount
nfsv4 mount points using kerberos. Also the ebuild does not configure /etc/idmapd.conf and /etc/
gssapi_mech.conf which are necessary for rpc.idmapd, rpc.gssd, and rpc.svcgssd. I am enclosing samples
of these configurations for your reference

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start nfs services on the server machine running gentoo with nfs-utils-1.0.7-r1
2. go to a client machine and attempt a mount using kerberos authentication
3.

Actual Results:
the mount operation fails

Expected Results:
the mount operation should be successfull
