shorewall version bump.
Created attachment 5684 [details] shorewall ebuild + files shorewall update
This ebuild does not take into account the following change in the new shorewall version, does it? From http://shorewall.net/: "The main firewall script is now /usr/lib/shorewall/firewall. The script in /etc/init.d/shorewall is very small and uses /sbin/shorewall to do the real work. This change makes custom distributions such as for Debian and for Gentoo easier to manage since it is /etc/init.d/shorewall that tends to have distribution-dependent code." Reading this I think it is wrong to delete ${D}/usr/lib/shorewall/firewall and substitute this with ${D}/etc/init.d/shorewall. This is exactly what is not needed anymore with the new version. Wouldn't it be okay to just delete the following lines in the ebuild? rm -f ${D}/usr/lib/shorewall/firewall cp ${D}/etc/init.d/shorewall ${D}/usr/lib/shorewall/firewall
There's a new version of shorewall available. Would like an ebuild for it.
Bouncing back to bug-wranglers due to time constraints.
