Currently, maxima's .info documentation is installed to /usr/info. It should 
instead be installed to /usr/share/info.

Tried maxima-5.9.1-r4 and all info files are installed to /usr/share/info.
However, nothing changed for r3 to r4 in this respect...
Please, try again and confirm.

Fixed in "-r5". Thanks for reporting.

Maybe you missed it because "/usr/info" is a symlink to "/usr/share/info", so  
the documentation ends up in the correct place even if maxima thinks it is  
installing it elsewhere.
