Description ajacoutot 2002-11-10 06:11:51 UTC
After emerging mjpegtools, I couldn't find the lav2divx program, but only:
lav2mpeg lav2wav lav2yuv

However, lav2divx should be part of mjpegtools.

Comment 6 phoen][x 2002-11-15 14:09:50 UTC
Could you try to drop the -O3 and see if that helps?

Comment 7 ajacoutot 2002-11-15 15:16:45 UTC
unfortunately, that does not help...

Comment 8 ajacoutot 2002-11-16 08:23:06 UTC
I installed mjpegtools on another box and I get the exact same error...
It looks like a package/sources problem, don't you think ?

Comment 9 phoen][x 2002-11-16 10:55:59 UTC
Well i cant help it - i merged it on a couple of boxes and it segfaults on every
one. I even compiled it by hand - no gain. After that i tried to use the newest
cvs-sources, but they dont play nice with my automake.

~sigh~ - got any other ideas?

Comment 10 ajacoutot 2002-11-16 12:27:36 UTC
nope, I'm sorry...
maybe we should go ask on mjpegtools mailing lists.
Comment 11 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-09 18:26:33 UTC
try mjpegtools-1.6.1
Comment 12 merwan kashouty 2003-08-18 11:38:11 UTC
well i had this happen also ... it seems that emerging avifile-0.7.37.20030522-r2.ebuild did the trick for me... i run ~x86 and had 0.7.38 installed... i tried 0.7.32 but it failed to build...anyway .37 and mpjegtools-1.6.0-r7 emerged fine.
Comment 13 Max Kalika (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-09-19 22:04:44 UTC
Please try mjpegtools 1.6.1.90 with the latest 0.7.38 version of avifile.
Comment 14 Max Kalika (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-01 10:20:13 UTC
Closing. If problems persist with the new version, please reopen.
