gDesklets versions < 0.30 have been deprecated for almost a year now leaving
many desklets compatible with these versions also deprecated.  These desklets
(which have ebuilds) include:
x11-plugins/desklet-battery
x11-plugins/desklet-calendar
x11-plugins/desklet-cornerxmms
x11-plugins/desklet-goodweather
x11-plugins/desklet-ltvariations
x11-plugins/desklet-multitail
x11-plugins/desklet-psidisplays (see bug 78361)
x11-plugins/desklet-psiextras (see bug 78361)
x11-plugins/desklet-psisensors (see bug 78361)
x11-plugins/desklet-rhythmlet
x11-plugins/desklet-sysinfo
x11-plugins/desklet-temperature
x11-plugins/desklet-weather
x11-plugins/desklet-wireless

I've package.mask'ed most of these in May, and I'd like to remove all of them as
soon as I can.  I'd also like to remove gdesklets-core versions less than
0.33.1, since that is the first real stable version since 0.30 that works with
the most of the desklets.  Please comment and indicate if this is acceptable.

Acceptable for sparc, even if one of the newer ones isn't even ~sparc.
I'll look into a case by case scenario like in bug #103966 and keyword accordingly.

I've got no problem with it on ppc either.  Do you want us to keyword now?

Removed desklet-* slated for removal.  Will remove <gdesklets-core-0.33.1 in a
few days, barring more objections.

<gnome-extra/gdesklets-core-0.33.1 is now in package.mask, since it is more
proper procedure.  I'll remove it in a week or so.

Removed <gnome-extra/gdesklets-core-0.33.1 as well as all the packages listed
above.  Thanks all.
