Description:   Opened: 2005-08-21 07:46 0000 
picutils needs the attached patch to compile clean on Gentoo/FreeBSD. 
It's a no-change for Gentoo/Linux users.

can i assume you've sent this upstream ? ;)

patch looks ok to me ... malloc() comes from stdlib.h, not from malloc.h

Is upstream alive? Last news on the HOMEPAGE is from 2002.

Upstream is still alive, although progressing slowly.

2.1.11 is a long way behind the current tree (which is 2.1.99), but I hope I
will get pciutils-2.2 out of the door in a week or so.
