Dosn't seem to be much changes so just renaming the ebuild should do the  
trick.  
 
Seems like a bug that makes the current version not work is fixed. 
  
Notes: 
Fixed bug that was causing kcheckgmail to mis-parse the thread list. 
 
Changes: 
o Fixed regex bug in gmailparse.cpp 
o added DCOP interface

Yes, just renaming the ebuild worked for me.  I think this bug's severity
should
be higher than enhancement, since the program doesn't work as it is in portage.

In portage. 
I think it can go stable in a couple of days if no problems arise.
