Created attachment 64777 [details] a proposed ebuild This is a proposed ebuild. I would like to become the maintainer of lcov (and re2c and possibily other packages), but I don't have a CVS account. Please inform me how I can become a developper.

Please fix the following and reopen: * KEYWORDS violate policy. * No need for a die on unpack. In fact, no need for the src_unpack at all. * Canonical make invocation is make vars targets. * ${D} needs quoting. * You need to figure out which do* things are necessary and remove the ones that aren't. Same for the /etc thing.
Created attachment 67413 [details] lcov-1.4.ebuild I hope this one is ok now. (please read the comments about the config file in the ebuild)

Created attachment 105745 [details] My try of makeing a ebuild for the latest lcov
please read my comment in bug #160533. it doesn't depend (or shouldn't depend) on lcov. Anyway, as I already said a few times, I'm available to become the maintainer of this package. I just need a cvs account (I'm already an open-source dev anyway..)
Created attachment 156335 [details] lcov-1.6.ebuild Would anybody like to add lcov-1.6.ebuild to the portage tree?
I've added this to the tree as dev-util/lcov and I've added it to the dev-tools herd, but with me as the maintainer..
