Description Cahya 2005-07-29 06:03:05 UTC
Hi,
can we have Follow_X-Forwarded-For headers patch in squid?
When a request passes through a chain of one or more other proxies before
reaching Squid, we sometimes want to examine the X-Forwarded-For headers to find
the IP address of the original (or indirect) client, and use the indirect client
address in access controls, delay pools and logs.
This will be very helpful if you use Dansguardian, because currently all
connection come from localhost instead of the real client ip address.
Please have a look at: http://squid.sourceforge.net/follow_xff/

Thanks.

fixed in squid-2.5.10-r1. the patch is applied if follow-xff useflag is enabled.
