Description:   Opened: 2005-07-25 09:20 0000
After emerging gtkcdlabel, it seems not to link correctly to libglade. On
startup under KDE, I get a string of error messages, indicating that the
handlers for the buttons have not linked. A complete gtkcdlabel window appears,
but as one might expect there is no action on selecting any button. Re-emerging
gtkcdlabel and libglade does not help.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gtkcdlabel
2.$ gtkcdlabel
3.

Actual Results:

Same here on my ppc. No clue yet, I have to investigate.

------- Comment #2 From Anton Romanov 2005-08-14 10:12:03 0000 -------
FAQ/PROBLEMS:

Q: I get lots of (gtkcdlabel:6269): libglade-WARNING **: could not find signal
handler 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx'.
when i start gtkcdlabel - and no button works. Whats wrong?
A: Your linker is too old. Update or simply do the following
   LDFLAGS="${LDFLAGS:- -export-dynamic}" ; export LDFLAGS
   ./configure
  make

------- Comment #3 From Anton Romanov 2005-08-14 10:12:35 0000 -------
above works ....

------- Comment #4 From Luis Medinas (RETIRED) 2005-08-18 03:45:39 0000 -------
I added that adicional LDFLAG to gtkcdlabel-1.0pre7-r1 ebuild. Now it works
perfect.
Thanks for your reports.
