... will rebuild qt-2 and report.

Status update? 
Do you have /usr/qt/2/lib/libqt.so* ? You should. 

any luck ?

so i assume you're still experiencing the same problem as stated originally ?
if so could you provide this file ?

I emerged more versions of qt until I had this: and then cuyo-1.6.0_beta2
merged fine. Do you want me to test with cuyo-1.05 ?

nah i'm gonna add 1.6.1 to the portage tree

speaking of which, could you try emerging 1.6.1 and see if it works for you ?

aight re-open if 1.6.1 doesnt work for you :)
